Description
Some greens feel warm, while others feel cool. This one belongs to the second family: a pale, almost icy seafoam green, hence the name. The Dakota Ice wedding guest takchita combines two fabrics that tell different stories. Underneath, silk satin catches the light in a soft sheen. On top, embroidered lace opens at the front, with silver rhinestones clinging to the pattern like frost.
Two pieces, one V-neck: the anatomy of this seafoam green takchita
The V-neck changes everything in the Dakota family, which until now has stayed true to the high neckline. It reveals the nape, elongates the torso, and leaves room for a necklace. The sfifa edging the opening is braided in two tones, green and silver, and fastened with matching aqaads, knotted one by one. These finishing touches, made by our artisans for this design, are what give the piece its distinctive look up close.
The belt follows the same style: silver, with a central brooch that serves as both clasp and jewelry. It cinches the waist and holds the lace overskirt in place, which parts as you walk to reveal the satin. This is the classic movement of the takchita, here expressed through light transparency rather than gold embellishment.

Seafoam green and silver work for both day and evening. As a wedding guest, for an engagement party, a family henna celebration, Eid, or a spring or summer reception, the shade stays fresh in the terrace sunshine and luminous under the lights of a venue. Is the lace transparent?
The lace overskirt is openwork, but it is worn over the silk satin underdress, which provides full coverage. The outfit is not transparent.
How is it different from the other Dakota styles?
The Dakota Ice is the only style in the line with a V-neck and seafoam green color. The Dakota Luxe, Prestige, and Fancy styles have high necklines and feature beige and dusty rose tones.
Will the rhinestones stay in place over time?
Yes, they are embroidered onto the lace, not glued on. Just avoid rubbing the overskirt against prong-set jewelry, and take the outfit to a dry cleaner.
What jewelry goes with seafoam green and silver?
Silver, white gold, pearls, or light-colored stones. The V-neck calls for a short necklace or a delicate pendant. Avoid heavy yellow gold, which takes away from the freshness of the shade.
How do I choose my size?

How should I care for it?
