FAQ – Mode & Caftan France

1. How do I choose the right kaftan size?

Our kaftans have a fitted cut. A detailed size guide is available on every product page. If in doubt, contact us through the contact form or by email with your measurements: we will be glad to advise you.

2. Can I ask for alterations or a custom fit?

Only made-to-measure pieces can be adjusted. No alterations are offered on standard in-stock designs.

3. What are the delivery times?

In-stock pieces: dispatched within 48 hours. Other sizes and designs: 2 to 15 days. Made to measure: 15 to 20 working days. You receive an email with the tracking number as soon as your order ships. Have an event coming up? Write to us before ordering and we will confirm the timing.

4. How much is shipping?

Mainland France and Germany: free from €200, €12 below. Other European countries, Switzerland, Canada, United States: calculated at checkout by country and weight. We ship from France by registered Colissimo, insured, with signature on delivery.

5. Can I return an item?

Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to return an unworn item with its labels still attached, after emailing bonjour@mode-et-caftan.com. Return costs are deducted from your refund: €12 for France, €25 for Europe and Switzerland. Refunds go back to your original payment method within 3 to 7 working days of receipt. We do not exchange: for another size, return the item and place a new order. Made-to-measure pieces cannot be returned.

6. Are the kaftans handmade?

Absolutely. Every kaftan is handmade in our workshop near Rabat, with careful finishing: embroidery, matching sfifa trim and aqaads buttons.

7. Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, we offer digital gift cards in several amounts. They can be used across the whole online store.

8. How do I care for my kaftan?

We recommend dry cleaning to preserve the fabrics and embroidery. Avoid machine washing and long exposure to sunlight. For specific advice, see each product page and our care guide.
