There is a season for velvet, and Monarque awaits it. This long-sleeved plum velvet kaftan is worn when the evenings grow cooler and summer outfits are no longer enough. The velvet is dense and rich. On top, four-gold-thread embroidery forms the motifs, and the contrast of the golden thread against the dark velvet gives the piece all its prestige.

Four-gold-thread embroidery is a demanding Moroccan technique: four twisted gold threads are placed by hand to create raised motifs. On velvet, it takes on a particular thickness that you can feel under your fingers. It runs across the bib, sleeves, and edges. Under the kaftan is an ecru silk satin under-kaftan. It shows at the neckline and cuffs, visually lightening the velvet with a bright touch. Without it, the plum would feel heavy; with it, it breathes. This kaftan dress is timeless.
When and how to wear it
Monarque is an evening kaftan for autumn or winter weddings, receptions, indoor engagements, and end-of-year celebrations. It pairs beautifully with gold jewelry, large earrings, and metallic gold pumps. This is a statement piece that catches the light and commands attention, so it should not be accompanied by anything equally bold. Available from sizes 36 to 44 and made to measure. Velvet does not stretch: check the size guide, and if you are between sizes, choose the larger size.
Care: dry-clean only. Store the velvet hanging, never folded, to prevent creases. A pass with a steamer from a distance will restore the pile.

Yes, it is designed for cool evenings and air-conditioned venues. In midsummer outdoors, choose a satin or chiffon model instead.
Is the ecru under-kaftan included?
Yes, Monarque is sold as a two-piece set: a velvet kaftan and an ecru silk satin under-kaftan.
What is four-thread embroidery?
It is Moroccan embroidery made with twisted gold threads, then applied by hand using a precise technique. It creates a relief and radiance that digital machine embroidery cannot achieve.

RETURNS
We are committed to guaranteeing the quality of our products and are confident that you will be fully satisfied with your purchases. However, if despite our efforts this is not the case, you may return your parcel within the applicable legal period of 14 days and request a refund.
Refunds are issued within 3 to 5 days after receipt. Sealed jewellery and custom-made pieces cannot be returned.
The kaftan must be returned with its try-on tag intact, unworn and without perfume, in the same condition as when it arrived; otherwise, the return will be refused.
