The double skirt is the defining feature of the Orvana kaftan, and it is something you can only appreciate in motion: an ivory silk broadcloth overskirt floating over an inner honey-colored silk satin skirt. With every step, the two layers shift and overlap.
Above, deep brown velvet absorbs the light, while the gold embroidery reflects it: stand-up collar, bodice, cuffs, and upper sleeves. The cut is structured and close-fitting, unlike loose-fitting kaftans.
